“I am so happy I found EverDear. After my beloved dog passed away and got cremated I wanted to keep something special of my dear dog with me all times. I must say, they were very helpful, professional. Everything with EverDear went smoothly - even though I live in Europe. Customs were no problem at all. Thank you EverDear!”
— Michael Müller
“The cremation diamond looks absolutely GORGEOUS. My fiancé and I are really excited to receive the ring much earlier than we expected. And Beena for being so helpful throughout the entire diamond transformation process. I would recommend EverDear to anyone that is looking for a nice and meaningful wedding ring made from hairs.”
— Emy Terracini
“I want to have my pet’s ashes made into a cremation diamond and have it mounted onto a pendant and surprise my wife with it. She is still grieving over his passing. The present would be of great help I hope. I changed my mind and redid the order form several times, but the CS staff have been really accommodating. I’m pretty satisfied with the order process. The diamond looks perfect.”
— Victoria Emsalem

Authenticity of EverDear™ Memorial Diamonds
Memorial diamonds are lab-grown diamonds made from the ashes or hair of a loved one who passed away. These diamonds are made of crystallized carbon, just as natural diamonds are. Memorial diamonds and mined diamonds possess the same chemical, optical and physical properties. The only difference between lab-created memorial diamonds and natural mined diamonds is the source of carbon and the environment in which they are formed.
Natural diamonds are formed under the earth's crust over millions of years, where natural carbon is crystalized under extremely high pressure and high temperature. A memorial diamond is created by placing the carbon from cremains through the same circumstances, only in a lab setting. The way they are created as well as professional institutions can prove that memorial diamonds are also real diamonds.
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA), is one of the world's leading geological research institute. GIA is world renown for being extremely strict and very consistent. All EverDear’s GIA certificated memorial diamonds are real diamonds that come with a detailed report which includes a full quality analysis of shape and cutting style, measurements, carat weight, color grade, clarity grade, cut grade (for brilliant round-cut diamonds), polish, and other detailed information about the diamond.
The certification and report from International Gemological Institute (IGI) is another common language of trust and confidence in the gemological world. IGI reports are considered an authoritative resource for authenticity and quality assessment worldwide. Ever EverDear’s IGI certificated memorial diamonds have a report that indicates the assessment in controlled conditions and detailed relevant gemological characteristics according to the strictest international system.

FAQs about Memorial Diamonds
-
Memorial diamonds are lab-grown diamonds made out of carbon extracted from human cremated remains. From cremated ashes, carbon can be extracted in the form of particles. After the carbon is obtained, laboratory specialists filter, purify and then graphitize the carbon to put it under the same conditions that create a natural diamond.
In a high-temperature high-pressure environment created by special equipment, carbon extracted from human ashes experience what natural diamonds have been through over billions of years of formation. In the laboratory, this process can be condensed into a few months. Memorial diamonds grown in this way are absolutely real diamonds that share the same physical and chemical properties as natural mined diamonds. Moreover, memorial diamonds made by EverDear™ are certificated and graded by professional gemological institutions such as GIA and IGI.
-
Carbon is the fundamental component of life, and everything that is alive is made of carbon, including your pet. Since diamonds are entirely constructed of carbon, and all living creatures contain copious amounts of carbon, it is possible to create diamonds from animal ashes. All pet ashes can be turned into diamonds, whether your beloved animal is a cat, dog, horse, or even a pet parrot. EverDear™ can make them into shining diamonds to keep you company forever.
Making a remembrance diamond out of your pet's ashes will allow your pet to participate in the rest of your life so they never miss a moment. By wearing a memorial diamond keepsake made from ashes, you can always share the memory of your loving pet with those around you.
-
Diamonds can be made out of hair. Human hair contains large amounts of Carbon which is the element that makes up a diamond. This means that we can now turn hair into lab-grown diamonds by using specialized technology to extract carbon from hair. The diamond can be created out of the hair of one or multiple people, or even be made from your pet’s fur.
Human hair contains about 45% of Carbon which can be used to create diamonds. To grow a memorial diamond in the laboratory, only a small amount of hair is needed. You can use a jar or a sealed box to contain the hair and send it to our headquarters for diamond production. After the laboratory has received your hair, our experts will analyze components of the hair and extract the carbon within. The carbon from the hair sample will then be put under a high-pressure high-temperature environment to form into a diamond.
-
Turning cremated ashes into memorial diamonds is actually using the carbon extracted from the ashes to create diamonds in a lab environment. After cremation, the body of an adult human being leaves about 1.8 to 2.7 kg of ashes (about 9.4 cups). The cremated ashes contain approximately 0.5 to 4 percent carbon.
Normally, it takes about two-thirds of a cup of ashes to make a 0.1-carat diamond. At EverDear™, to produce a 1 carat diamond, 100 grams of ashes is needed. More ashes will be needed if you want to create diamonds in larger sizes or make multiple diamonds.
Theoretically, it is possible to turn the ashes of one person into nearly 14 diamonds of 0.1-carat. Hair is a more efficient source of carbon than cremated ashes. You can increase this efficiency by preserving the hair before cremation. As a result, EverDear™ can offer you 1 diamond as large as 3.0 carats or in sets of 2 to 4 diamonds (discounted family plans).
Please note that we are using the original mass of the human body to estimate the weight of the cremated ashes. The weight of the ashes is mainly based on the weight of the bones in the body. So the height will have a larger effect on this average value than the body weight.
